More Designs, Same AVSFAM Standards
If you’ve ordered an AVSFAM shirt before, you already know what we care about: unique art, incredibly soft/comfortable shirts, and clear expectations.
That hasn’t changed.
What has changed is how many designs we’re finally able to offer—and how we produce them.
Over the years, we’ve created well over 150 Avalanche-related shirt designs. The reality is that not every design makes sense to produce in large print runs. Until now, that meant a lot of designs never made it to the site.
To solve that, we’re introducing two clearly defined ways we print AVSFAM shirts.
Same artwork. Same brand.
Two different production paths.
AVSFAM Premium Tees – Fast Ship
This is the standard AVSFAM is built on.
Our Premium Tees are:
Printed on super-soft tri-blend shirts
Designed specifically for that fabric and print method
Produced with a high-touch, minimal-ink feel
Printed by our long-time, dedicated printer in Colorado
These shirts are part of our vertically controlled production process, from art sketches, to art separations, and from garment selection to print execution. Because they’re printed in advance and handled locally, orders typically ship within 2–3 business days.
If fabric feel, print quality, and fast delivery matter most to you, this is the option we recommend, when they are in stock, which has been a problem. Keep reading.
AVSFAM Vault Tees – On Demand
Vault Tees allow us to offer a much wider range of designs—without limiting availability.
These shirts are:
Printed on demand after you place your order
Produced using DTG (direct-to-garment) printing (still softer than the average shirt, especially after a few washes)
Fulfilled by a network of vetted, industry-standard printers
Because Vault Tees are not part of our vertically controlled premium production, the fabric and print feel may differ slightly from our Premium Tees. They are still comfortable, soft, well-made shirts, but they prioritize design availability and selection over the ultra-soft, high-touch experience of our Premium line.
Since each shirt is made to order, Vault Tees typically ship in 10–14 business days.
Why We’re Offering Both
This approach lets us:
Offer far more AVSFAM designs
Keep shirts always available
Avoid overproduction and unnecessary waste
Be transparent about quality, production, and shipping expectations
Rather than forcing every design into one production method, we’re choosing the approach that makes the most sense for each shirt—and being upfront about the difference. See above “Why are you always sold out of my size” comments.
How This Appears on the Site
Every product page will clearly state whether a shirt is:
Premium Tee – Fast Ship, or
Vault Tee – On Demand
Production method, expected feel, and shipping time will always be listed before you add anything to your cart.
